“BiCE Ristorante, 300 Fifth Ave. S., Naples, was ordered to close after receiving 14 violations during an April 17 inspection. Sewage backing up through the floor drains in the kitchen led to the restaurant’s temporary closure.
Luca Di Falco, managing partner of BiCE, had called a plumber to fix a small amount of water backing up through a drain before the inspector arrived, he said.
‘These things happen at restaurants often; we have old buildings in Naples and it’s very common,’ Di Falco said. ‘This was a misunderstanding.'”
